Gateway at Bullock County Hospital offers inpatient psychiatric care for adults ages 19-54 whose acute symptoms require a safe and structured therapeutic environment.

The team of clinical specialists at Bullock County Hospital offer acute psychiatric stabilization for older adults with dementia, depression, anxiety, late life mood disorders, and other symptoms of psychosis.

Inpatient Medical Services

Bullock County Hospital, one of Alabama's oldest rural hospitals, treats more than 12,045 patients annually. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency care, inpatient medical care, physical therapy, home health services, EKG procedures, CT, X-rays, ultrasound, mammograms, laboratory tests, and more. It is also home to the Self Recovery Drug and Alcohol Addiction Program, Gateway Adult Psychiatric Unit and the Golden Years Geriatric Psych Unit.
